ModShop opens Chicago store

 Custom home furnishings manufacturer and retailer ModShop has opened its fifth major metro showroom here.

The 2,000-square-foot store at 1511 N. Halsted St. offers exclusive upper-end, modern-leaning furniture and accents with custom capabilities, including for sizing, fabric and finish options.

Owned and operated by husband and wife team John and Taryn Bernard, ModShop has been in business for 16 years and has additional showrooms in Los Angeles, New York, Miami, Dallas and Costa Mesa, Calif., as well as a Los Angeles-based factory and offshore manufacturing plant.
